Just went through and compared various elements in both games to see how much FC5 improved over the last entry.. but I was surprised to learn that there's quite a few downgrades including a serious lack of dynamic objects in the world. So, having bought Far Cry 5 without knowing too much about it, I was quite surprised that you were given a choice between a male and female character in the first place – Far Cry 3 and 4 were distincly “male” games which both catered to and criticised the typical male power fantasies. Far Cry 5, it turns out, is no different. Far cry 3 has a deep and interesting story with a great portion of action.Also a great soundtrack.4 has less emotional story but enhanced gameplay and graphics.In fact Far cry 3 is the best part of the series.After 3 comes 5 which is great but less serious.Then New dawn which is a direct sequel to 5 but with a lame RPG-like gameplay.Then 2 which is the most realistic in the series.Then 4 which Far Cry 5 was my second game of the franchise, after loving Far Cry 4. I bought it not too far from release thinking it'd be better than Far Cry 4 in every way. I heavily disliked it. So much so, that I completely left the game just before finishing and only came back 8 months after because I was straight up fed up with it. I’ve never replayed a far cry more than far cry 2, it was awesome so that one is my favourite. 3,4 and 5 were also good, they were very similar.
